What I expect from you!

You know that thing you feel when waiting at a stoplight for thirty seconds seems like it takes too much time out of your day.  I've been feeling that a lot lately.  Life is a series of crests and troughs.  Sometimes I'm riding high, sometimes I get a bit bogged down.  I'm not complaining, just stating the facts.

My husband's work is taking him to D.C. for the rest of the month, and we're going with him.  After we get back from D.C., I have family coming into town followed by a long trip to California for more family excitement stuff, and then we will be moving (again).  No, I don't know where to yet.  Could be Arizona, could be Guam or a number of other places... Hopefully we'll find out by the end of April.

So that's my long way of saying that I'm taking a hiatus from blogging for a while.  Maybe a month, maybe the whole summer.  I haven't decided yet, but I hope you'll all be here when I find my way back.  Don't forget me ;)!  I expect you all to be agented, published, and on your way to a life of literary success when I get back.

  1. Wow lots of upheaval and adventure. Hope your have a great time on your Hiatus. Is your husband military or something? Be careful about moving to Guam it's a small island and may just tip over(inside joke - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNZczIgVXjg) Anyway I'll miss you and your drawings. I should be here when you get back.

  3. Wow! This is craziness. Guam doesn't have my stamp of approval, by the way. Just sayin'. You better stay in touch, lady! :)

  4. Hiatus time = sad for us readers, BUT we understand. Life happens. Good luck with everything and if you guys end up moving to AZ, let me know. That's my neck of the woods and I may be able to point you in the right direction if you guys ever need anything.

  6. Wow. Cool. I love DC. That sounds like exciting times. I'll still be around when you get back. Have fun. Poke your head up long enough to let us know where you're moving.

  7. Nooooooooo!

*sigh* Well, since it sounds like you have many fun and exciting things lined up I'll try to just be happy for you and not mad that you're leaving us hanging out here in darkness.

;) Seriously though, you'd better not let your WiP go dark! Or I might have to rally up the mobs for a mass protest.

  9. I'm sad you're leaving. If I run another contest, who will win it? Anyway, sounds crazy but much more important than providing us with a blog post. I expect YOU to be agented and on your way to literary success when you come back. (I'll be VERY happy when you come back. Until then it just won't be the same.)

  18. Followed you over from One Significant Moment at a Time. There aren't many out there I've found writing superhero love stories, so since that's what I'm working on right now too, I had to stop by and follow you. :)

Good luck with your upcoming adventure! I hope the move goes smoothly for you. Recently did the same thing myself. :)
